There should not be any charges to pay for accessing patient's medical imaging reports....
It should be brought into the attention of ministry of health in Canada, if this payment is reliable or not???

We apologize for the inconveniences you experienced in the process of obtaining your Medical Imaging. Regarding obtaining copies of your Medical Imaging, the process varies depending on what you are requesting.
If you are requesting your Medical Imaging Report only, our facility does not charge for reports and always provides to our patients free of charge. Patients are entitled to have copies of their medical imaging report as per Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) so you are certainly correct. If you are just looking for your report feel free to let us know and it would be our pleasure to forward them to you.
If you are looking to obtain the images of your assessment conducted, we are partnered with Pocket Health. We advise our patient to use Pocket Health as it uses the same encryption standards as banks and federal governments for all imaging transfers and is in full compliance with all Canadian health data privacy and security requirements. As you mentioned Pocket Health does have a service fee included, however if you are concerned with the reliability of Pocket health there is nothing to worry about as over 600 imaging centers use Pocket Health.

Was really impressed with this location. They had weekend appointments available right away, there was no wait time when I got there, and the technician was friendly and efficient. Very different experience from the usual xray/ultrasound locations I have gone to previously.

Bellesmere is exactly what you need when you go to a clinic! The receptionists are very professional, helpful and polite and accommodating! The wait time was non-existent and they followed all COVID protocols! 5 stars!
Feb 6, 2021 I went for my ultrasound. Celine who was assisting me on my procedures was fantastic, educational and very gentle. I never felt the irritation, she explained to me which makes me less nervous. In my next procedure I still want to her to do my procedures.
Bellesmere is an excellent centre. The receptionists are professional, polite and helpful. I like that whenever you leave a message or send an email, they always get back to you promptly.
They are also accommodating-- you never have to wait for an appointment or wait more than a few minutes to get in.
In addition, they make sure to follow COVID protocols, so you do not at all uncomfortable.
It's really a great place!!!
